Tri-State Sprinter Rentals

Before you drive

Rules of the Road

Keep every journey safe and every van ready for its next travelers.

No Smoking

Smoking and vaping of any kind are strictly prohibited. Documented excess cleaning or damage charges may apply. Deductions are itemized and any remaining security deposit is returned, in accordance with the rental agreement.

Diesel Fuel Only

Our Sprinter requires DIESEL FUEL ONLY.

The renter is responsible for using the correct fuel at all times. Any damage caused by using the wrong fuel will be the renter’s responsibility, including applicable repair, towing, and related costs.

Know the Vehicle's Size

Due to the height and length of the Sprinter, drive-throughs and parking garages are prohibited.

Always check posted height and clearance restrictions before entering covered or restricted areas.

E-ZPass

An E-ZPass will be provided with the vehicle for your convenience. The renter is responsible for toll charges incurred during the rental period, along with any applicable E-ZPass service or rental fee.

Vehicle Damage & Retrieval

If the vehicle is damaged, disabled, or otherwise cannot be returned to the agreed return location, the renter may be responsible for vehicle retrieval, towing, transportation, and other related costs, subject to the rental agreement and applicable insurance coverage.

Vehicle Abandonment

The vehicle must never be abandoned. The renter may be responsible for additional rental time, retrieval expenses, towing, damages, and other costs resulting from abandonment.

Interior Damage

Renters are responsible for damage to the vehicle's interior, including seats, flooring, panels, electronics, fixtures, and other equipment, subject to the rental agreement and applicable insurance coverage.

Towing & Trailers

Towing a trailer or other equipment is not permitted without prior written approval from TRI-STATE SPRINTER RENTALS.

Any approved towing must comply with vehicle limitations and the terms of the rental agreement.

Extended-Trip Maintenance

For extended rentals or trips approaching 5,000 miles, please contact TRI-STATE SPRINTER RENTALS for maintenance instructions.

Renters are responsible for monitoring vehicle warnings and maintaining proper DEF levels during the rental. Do not perform or authorize repairs or scheduled maintenance without contacting us first, except in an emergency.

4x4 / Four-Wheel-Drive Restriction

If equipped, use of the vehicle's 4x4/four-wheel-drive system is prohibited unless specifically authorized by TRI-STATE SPRINTER RENTALS.

Damage resulting from unauthorized use may be charged to the renter.

Not a Medical Transportation Service

TRI-STATE SPRINTER RENTALS provides rental vehicles and does not provide medical transportation or emergency medical services.

In the event of a medical emergency, call 911.

K–12 School Transportation Restriction

Our passenger vans are not offered for the transportation of K–12 students for school-related activities or functions.

This includes transportation arranged for elementary, middle/junior high, or high school teams, clubs, field trips, or other school-sponsored activities.

If you are organizing transportation for a school-related event involving students in 12th grade or below, please use an appropriately certified school transportation provider.
